How the burn works
- 01
Characters trade
Every character token trades on pump.fun.
- 02
Creator fees
pump.fun pays creator fees on every trade.
- 03
30% to the reserve
The fixed buy & burn share goes to a public buyback reserve.
- 04
Buy $TP
The reserve buys $TP on the market in small parts.
- 05
Burn
Bought $TP is burned on-chain. Supply only goes down.
The buyback rule
The rule runs in code, not by decision. Anyone can check that the bot follows it.
- Fees are collected automatically on a schedule - no manual decisions.
- Exactly 30% of every character’s creator fees goes to the buyback reserve.
- Base pace: the reserve is spent evenly over 24 hours.
- Price 10% or more below its 24-hour average: buys speed up. During spikes they slow down.
- Nothing waits longer than 48 hours: older reserve is spent within the hour.
- Small buys with limited slippage and private submission, to avoid sandwich bots.
- Bought $TP is burned with a Burn instruction, never sent to a “dead” wallet and never sold.
- Daily reconciliation: collected fees x 30% = burned + reserve. Any gap is shown publicly.
